The role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower the students to be value oriented citizens, loyal to the society and nation, life long learners , productive members of an ever changing global society.

“Education- imparting the knowledge of God”-  Blessed Mariam Thressia.

Gandhiji says,   “Education draws out the best in man and child; mind, body and spirit”.

It is a process of developing the human personality in the dimensions of the intellectual, physical, social and moral values. At present, like all schools, we are faced with the challenge of developing a good sense of discipline and moral values within the ever changing social norms of society. Children  of these days are much more sensitive; they possess very high self-esteem and believe in independent thinking. There fore, we ensure that the approach to motivate and get the best out of the children is based on the positive reinforcement of good work and good behavior.

The goal of education is to make the people think and rethink on judging and decision making and enable them to make right choices and choose right values and priorities. It helps them to expose the treasures hidden in society and makes them grow in self appreciation and appreciation of the world with a sense of belonging to society and thus enables them to strive to build a just society.  Nelson Mandela asserts emphatically, “Education is the powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.

Dear students,  you  are blessed to have come to the portals of this school. And you have a long way to go in life. The years you are being moulded and equipped in institutions like this is like growing your roots, to rise high in life. In these days of  pressure, trends of negative forces you must take much care not to become its victims. Yes and No are the two most important words that you will ever say. These are the two words that determine your destiny in life. When and how you say them affects your entire future. Saying no to lesser things can mean saying yes to priorities in your life.Enlighenend person know where to say "yes" and where to say "no".You also have to train yourself to discern and  choose the best.  Every great person learned whom to obey, when to obey and how to obey.

In life may you never be ashamed of doing what is right, may you never lose the right track.  Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all times you can, to all the peoples you can, as long as ever you can, whoever you become in life. Nothing brings greater joy to the heart of your teachers and parents than to  see you children pursuing your purpose in life.
